Peppermint White Chocolate Cocoa

This rich and creamy minty hot cocoa is the perfect treat on a cold winter night.

Serves 8


3 cups milk
3 cups half & half
8 ounces good-quality white chocolate, finely chopped 
1 teaspoon LorAnn Peppermint Bakery Emulsion or 6 to 8 drops LorAnn peppermint oil (to taste)
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Whipped cream and candy canes for garnish - optional


  1. In a small saucepan, combine milk and half & half.  Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until hot. 
  2. Reduce heat to low and stir in chopped white chocolate until completely melted.  Stir in vanilla and peppermint bakery emulsion or peppermint oil.
  3. Pour into mugs and top each with a dollop of whipped cream and finish with a candy cane, if desired.
