Mint Drizzled Brownies on a Stick

INGREDIENTS

1 18.3 oz. (standard) boxed brownie mix + 1 additional egg
1 cup vanilla candy wafers, melted
Several drops LorAnn natural peppermint super strength flavoring
Blue powdered food coloring
Red sanding sugar
Craft sticks (popsicle sticks)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix brownies according to package directions adding one additional egg. 
  2. Line 13 x 9-inch pan with tin foil or parchment paper and grease the paper/foil. Bake according to package directions. 
  3. When cool, lift brownies from pan and cut into rectangles. Cut small rectangles if using popsicle size craft sticks; larger rectangles if using larger craft sticks. 
  4. Melt 1/2 cup candy wafers according to package directions — do not overheat. 
  5. Add two drops of peppermint super strength flavoring, adding more to desired taste. Dip tip of craft stick into melted wafers and insert 3/4 of the way into the cut brownie. Drizzle with some of the white wafers. Continue with remaining brownies. 
  6. Melt remaining 1/2 cup wafers and tint with blue powdered coloring until desired color intensity is achieved (note: powdered food coloring is very intense, so use sparingly). Drizzle brownies with some of the melted blue wafers and sprinkle with red sanding sugar before candy has set. 
  7. Store tightly covered in refrigerator.
