Nuts-About-Oranges Granola Bars

Power up with these delicious and easy to make granola bars! This healthy, easy to make snack is sweetened with honey and has lots of great orange flavor.

1 cup cashews
½ cup almonds
½ cup pecans
½ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
1 tsp LorAnn Oils Vanilla Extract
1⁄8 tsp LorAnn Oils Super-Strength Natural Orange Oil
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground ginger
1⁄3 cup honey


  1. Preheat oven to 325° F. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Roughly chop nuts and shredded coconut. Pieces should be ¼-inch at the largest.
  3. Combine all ingredients, except honey, in a large bowl.
  4. Pour honey over the combined mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  5. Pour mixture into the prepared baking pan. Using a rubber spatula, smooth into a tightly-packed layer.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until browned. Bars must cook fully or they will not hold together when cooled.
  7. Allow to cool for one hour, then gently lift from the pan.
  8. Slice into bars.
