Peppermint, Bakery Emulsion 4 oz.

Product Code: 0766-0800

To add a bold, bright, minty flavor, try LorAnn's Peppermint Emulsion (made with natural peppermint essential oil) in any of your baked goods such as recipes for cakes, cupcakes, cookies, brownies and frostings.

Use peppermint bakery emulsion just as you would a peppermint extract and get more flavorful results!

Looking for peppermint flavoring for your ice cream, shakes, smoothies and frozen yogurt? Our Natural Peppermint Bakery Emulsion (Item #0766) can be used as a substitute for our retired Peppermint Flavor Fountain Flavor (#1781). This bakery emulsion is stronger than the retired Flavor Fountain flavor, so it is best to use about ½ oz. per gallon of mix.  For soft-serve ice cream we recommend the starting dosage level at .40%.

1 teaspoon baking extract = 1 teaspoon emulsion

4 oz. & 16 oz. sizes packaged in BPA free, recyclable PET plastic bottles.

Water-based • Gluten-free • Kosher • Soluble in water

Can this be used in melted chocolate wafers?

When I put this in melted chocolate it coagulated, is this supposed to happen?

LorAnn's Response: Hello, our bakery emulsions are not intended for use in chocolates. For peppermint flavored chocolates, you will want to use our peppermint oil.

We were so anxious to use this that we used it in a boxed brownie mix. I prefer an "in your face" mint flavor. I used 1/2 TBS for the box and it was amazing! Not bitter in the least and the flavor is refreshing not muted by the chocolate (or baked out) at all. I will buy this over and over!
