Touchdown Lollipops

Looking for an easy-to-tackle lollipop recipe? These football helmet-shaped lollipops are even better than a touchdown, and uses our simple Hard Candy Mix and are flavored with Root Beer Super-Strength flavoring.

Step 1:
In a saucepan, combine candy mix and water. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring mixture to a boil. Insert candy thermometer. 

Step 2:
Cook without stirring. Remove from heat at 149 °C (300°F). Add root beer flavoring when boiling stops. Add brown liquid gel food coloring.

Step 3:
Pour mixture into lightly oiled hard candy mold.

Step 4:
Cool completely, but do not refrigerate. Remove candy from mold.
