A little goes a long way!  LorAnn’s super strength flavors (also known as candy oils or flavoring oils) are three to four times the strength of typical baking extracts.

Typical uses: hard candy, general candy making, cakes, cookies, frosting, ice cream and a wide variety of other baking and confectionery applications.

Note: When substituting super strength flavors for extracts, use ¼ to ½ teaspoon for 1 teaspoon of extract.

See the About our Flavors page for safe handling tips, FAQs, and more information.

Maraschino cherry

My favorite of the cherry flavors (although black cherry is also a must have for me). To me I taste a bit of almond, like the really expensive Maraschino cherries. Try it in chocolate chocolate chip cookies!

The best of the cherry flavors available.
August 18, 2019
I have used LorAnn’s regular cherry, black cherry and Washington cherry flavors and the Washington Cherry is by far my favorite. It lacks the chemical like flavor of the regular cherry and tastes and smells better than the black cherry, although black cherry is very good too. If you want a cherry

Good Cherry Flavor
September 21, 2017
I actually like this cherry flavor, it lacks the OVERLY chemical artificial flavor of the other one. It has a bit more like a cherry pie flavor, use it in very small amounts at first and adjust.
