A little goes a long way! LorAnn’s super strength flavors (also known as candy oils or flavoring oils) are three to four times the strength of typical baking extracts. Typical uses: hard candy, general candy making, cakes, cookies, frosting, ice cream and a wide variety of other baking and confectionery applications.

Note: When substituting super strength flavors for extracts, use ¼ to ½ teaspoon for 1 teaspoon of extract.

Our Lemon Super Strength is a food-grade essential oil. Essential oils are prized for varying attributes including aroma, flavor, therapeutic benefits as well as biochemical properties such as antibacterial and antifungal.  Essential oils are frequently used in aromatherapy, homeopathic healing, culinary applications (food grade only), and in the manufacture of cosmetics, soaps, lotions, balms, natural household cleaners, and even insect repellants.

After buying this multiple times I thought I should review it. I always keep this in my kitchen. It add the perfect bit of lemon freshness and flavor without having to zest a lemon. Love, love love this!! Use it in soups, baked goods and frostings, and marinades. Fabulous!!

Hai, can i use this and the other flavours in my lip gloss?

LorAnn's Response: Hi, Naddy! We tested all our Super Strength flavors in our own Flavored Lip Balm recipe, and found not ever flavor worked well. For suggestions and tips, check the recipe page (search item R0009).

Can it be used to drink in a cup of water?

LorAnn's Response: Hi, Tammy! That is a great question. Our Lemon Oil will float to the top of a glass of water. If you are looking to make your own flavored water, we recommend using our water-soluble flavors. For more information, check out our blog on how to make your own LaCroix-style water.
