Sugar Free Hard Candy Mix each

Is this the only size of sugar free mix you have?

I have several friends who wanted sf hard candy for Christmas so I purchased several bags of your sf mix. I have followed direction but 2 of 3 times the candy stays pliable and does not get hard. I even bought a new thermometer after the first fail. I pour it onto silicone coated parchment paper

I LOVE LOVE this sugar free mix. I ALWAYS keep a container of SF hard candy on my counter. I love adding salt for salted caramel or salted maple flavors. I just recently used the SF mix to make peanut brittle....yes it worked beautifully!!!! I skipped butter, syrup,soda , it was just great.

This is by far the best sugar free candy mix that i have tried. Tastes great with no after taste.

I've tried to make this twice, following the directions. It says to heat to 320 deg F but when it gets to about 290 it turns completely black. The second time I pulled it off the burner as soon as I saw a slight change in colour, but it turned black anyway.

If you have a sensitive GI Tract be very careful when eating candy made from this mix. The sugar-substitute in this will give you explosive diarrhea. You have been warned!!!!

Has no artificial sweetener aftertaste. So good you'll think you're cheating!

How much is a dram. How many batches of hard candie would it make

LorAnn's Response: Hello, Karen. 1 dram is approximately 1 teaspoon. If you are using any of our retail size candy mixes, 1 dram will make 1 batch.

I bought the sugar-free mix to make cough drops for a friend, but as I have vision issues, I cant read the instructions. Can you please tell me where I can find the instructions in an easier to read version? Thank you

Excellent mix. Easy to make. I split the hot syrup after it's ready and add different flavors to each half. It's the perfect amount. By the way, add a pinch or two of salt to the buttered popcorn flavor for a real treat.

This hard candy mix works great for creating sugar free toffee. Just add butter and cook the same as toffee made from sugar, add toffee flavor at the end of cooking. Great product and easy to use.

Most certainly will buy again.. Awesone stuff, LOVE IT.

This may taste great(haven’t used yet), but esp. when you have to add cost of oil, coloring, & equipment, this is far too expensive for only 1 lb. of candy(esp. when it cost 1/2 this price for the regular candy mix)! Would like to see a much more reasonable cost for such a small amt. of candy!!!

Isomalt, the main component of our Sugar-Free mix, has a high resistance to humidity and does not crystalize, resulting in a clearer finished product with a longer shelf life, but is unfortunately more costly than the ingredients in the traditional mix. If you shop for sugar free hard candies from big brands like Life Savers or Jolly Rancher, you’ll find that their cost per pound of finished candy are also considerably more expensive than their full-sugar versions.

As for the added investments in candy thermometers and food colors, it’s our hope that you would be able to use these again and again for other candies and yummy creations in your kitchen.

This makes fantastic sugar free candy. Store bought sugar free candy just doens't have enough flavor. With this mix, I can use 2 drams of flavoring oil for delicious candy.
