LorAnn's Lemon baking emulsion uses natural lemon essential oil to impart a bright, bold citrus flavor - the aroma is heavenly!  Use in any recipe as you would a lemon baking extract - and experience better results. Use lemon emulsion instead of lemon zest in your recipes - just substitute 1/2 tsp. emulsion for 1 tsp. zest.    

1 teaspoon baking extract = 1 teaspoon emulsion

4 oz. & 16 oz. sizes packaged in BPA free, recyclable PET plastic bottles.

Since it's soluble in water, our natural Lemon Bakery Emulsion is great in beverages and, unlike a lemon extract, it won't impart the flavor of alcohol.

Super artificial taste

I would highly not recommend this unless you like and want your items to taste like a straight up lemon drop. It tastes super artificial and nothing like lemon.

I have been using this product for the last three years after struggling to get my Lemon Drizzle Cakes to taste really Lemony.

This product has made a huge difference and is so easy to use. I probably use a little too much, but who cares, as long as the team I work with enjoy it then great.

No lemon flavor at all

I so want to love this product and give it 5 stars but I can't. Tried to use it in a GF blueberry lemon loaf but when I tasted it prior to adding, there was NO lemon flavor (at all) only some weird chemical taste. Shook as directed on label...anyone experience anything similar?

LorAnn's Response: Hi, Margo. We are sorry you didn't enjoy our lemon emulsion. We don't recommend tasting the product directly from the bottle. These are concentrated flavors and won't taste the same way they will once they are added to a recipe. We do also offer a pure lemon oil that will work great for baked goods in case you want to try something else. The lemon oil is much stronger than the emulsion, so you will only need 1/4 of the amount.

I have a sugar cookie business and ice the cookies with Lemon flavored icing! My customers can't get enough of it. 1 Tablespoon in a batch of royal icing.

I think this flavor is really good! It tastes strongly of lemon, but it's not sour, and it doesn't curdle milk.
