Superfood Granola Bar

This easy to make granola bar is packed with nutrition. Cut into bars, or crumble and use as a yogurt topping.
10 dates, chopped finely
1 cup oats
¼ cup raw sunflower seeds
¼ cup toasted coconut
¼ cup pepitas
½ cup walnuts, chopped
¼ cup maple syrup
1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
¼ tsp LorAnn Oils Orange Oil
½ tsp salt
Ingredients
1 tbsp minced, fresh ginger10 dates, chopped finely
1 cup oats
¼ cup raw sunflower seeds
¼ cup toasted coconut
¼ cup pepitas
½ cup walnuts, chopped
¼ cup maple syrup
1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
¼ tsp LorAnn Oils Orange Oil
½ tsp salt
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line a 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, add oats, sunflower seeds, toasted coconut, pepitas, walnuts, salt and chopped dates. Fork through to mix evenly.
- In a small cup, combine maple syrup, coconut oil, and orange oil.
- Pour liquid over dry ingredients and stir to coat completely.
- Pour combined ingredients into lined baking dish and press granola mixture down evenly and firmly.
- Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool for 15 minutes.
- Remove granola from baking dish by lifting up by the parchment paper.
- Set on cutting board and cut into bars.
- Once completely cooled, store into airtight container.
